Mapping Gunboats for ‘The Devil’s Own Purgatory: The United States Mississippi Squadron in the Civil War.’

For Historian Robert Gudmestad’s book, these maps were designed to be readable on a very small page in black and white while still retaining a historical style. This project taught me a lot about all the cartographic and layout tools in ArcGIS Pro as well as working on a team- me and another intern at the Centroid worked in tandem to match each other’s styles and ideas.
